Once your design is completed to your satisfaction it is time to make a tool for production.

At Active Plastics we have toolmakers from a variety of backgrounds - each one bringing a unique talent to the company.  These are people committed to building quality tooling that is accurate and reliable.

We have a comprehensive array of state of the art machinery that is maintained to a very high level so that efficiency and accuracy are not compromised.  And we use the best tool steels available - guaranteeing long tool life and reliability.

The Tool Room has four CNC machines, allowing us to manufacture multiple components.  Our workshop is equipped with two lathes and three universal mills - ensuring we avoid situations where toolmakers are waiting for machines to be available.  Spark eroding and surface and cylindrical grinding facilities are also part of our workshop facilities.
